What are the rules for tennis doubles matches?
Doubles court: The width of the doubles court should be 36 feet. That is 4.5 feet (1.37m) wider than each side of the singles court. The singles sideline between the two service lines is called the sideline of the service court.
Serving order of doubles: The order of serving should be determined in the following way before the start of each set. The pair of players who serve first in the first game should decide which player will serve first. Their opponent should make the same decision in the second game. The partner of the player who served first in the first game serves in the third game. The player’s partner in the second game serves in the fourth game.
