What are the professional squash events?
There are four major events in the professional squash world, namely the oldest British Squash Open, the Hong Kong Squash Open in China, the Squash Championship and the World Squash Open in New York, USA. In June each year, another Super Championship is held for the top 8 players in the world in the previous year.
The official Asian Squash Championships include the Asian Cup Squash Championships, the Asian Cup Youth Squash Championships, and the Asian Games, Southeast Asian Games, and Central Asian Games.
The Chinese squash competition includes the China Squash Open, which was founded in 2006, joined the World Tour of the International Professional Squash Association in 2008, and was upgraded to one of the top tournaments on the tour in 2014.
