How to judge the error in the badminton service area?
Reserving rule
1. Encountered unforeseen or unexpected situations.
2. Except for serving, the ball is hung on the net or stopped on the top of the net after it has passed the net.
3. When serving, both the server and the receiver violated the law at the same time.
4. The server serves when the receiver is not ready.
5. During the game, the ball support is completely separated from the rest of the ball.
6. When the lineman did not see clearly and the referee was unable to make a decision.
7. When “re-serving”, the last serve is invalid and the original server re-serves.
Wrong service court
1. The order of serving is wrong.
2. Serve from the wrong service court.
3. Prepare to receive the serve in the wrong serving court, and the opponent’s ball has been delivered.
How to judge the wrong service court
1. If the error is discovered before the next serve is hit, the serve should be re-served; if only one side made a mistake and lost the round, the error will not be corrected.
2. If the error is not found before the next serve is hit, the error will not be corrected.
3. If the ball is “re-served” due to an error in the serving court, the round is invalid, and the error is corrected and the ball is re-served.
4. If the service court error has not been corrected, the game should continue without changing the player’s new service court and new serve order.
