Multi-fiber
This string is a bunch of very thin synthetic filaments twisted together to form a thread. The structure is similar to a natural gut string. This nylon multi-strand structure is better than a structure with an inner core in terms of shock absorption comfort. The ball feel is similar to a natural gut string. At the same time, because this string is soft and comfortable when hitting the ball. Therefore, it is more suitable for players who have tennis elbow but cannot afford natural gut strings. But this kind of string is the same as the natural gut string, and hitting the ball will cause damage to it. It may also cause the tennis line to split. Therefore, its service life is between the natural gut string and the core composite string.
Multi-fiber single core multi-layer
A large core is composed of multiple finer multi-fiber inner cores. And there is one or more layers of fiber wrapping on the outside. This results in a comfort similar to that of a multi-fiber string, but more durable.
Single core single layer fiber
It is the most popular nylon string cross-section structure today. Most “gut-like strings” are single-core single-layer fiber structures. The biggest advantage of this string is that the weight is not easy to decay. And the “crisp” feel of hitting the ball is close to the natural gut string. The texture and thickness of the inner core and outer fibers of nylon will affect the feel and comfort of the tennis line.
Single core multi-layer fiber
The performance is similar to the single-core single-layer fiber tennis line, but the durability and ball eating are better.
