Racket shape
Padel rackets are wooden boards with front and back sides. The front side is flat, and the back has a ridge in the center. The wood that often hits the ball is thickened in the center of the board. The tail of the ball board is connected to a cylindrical ball board handle, which is a bit similar to a tennis racket. The two parts are connected by different joints. The end of the ball near the handle is called the shoulders (shoulders), and the bottom of the racket is called the toe.
Padel rackets size
Article 6 of the Padel rackets rules stipulates that the length of padel rackets cannot exceed 38 inches (965 mm) and the width of the ball plate cannot exceed 4.25 inches (108 mm). Although the weight is not specified, it usually weighs between 2 lbs and 8 ounces to 3 lbs (1.1 to 1.4 kg). The handle is usually covered with a rubber or cloth cover to increase friction, and the surface of the ball plate is usually covered with a protective film. The Padel rackets rules in Appendix E have more precise specifications for their specifications.
